Our mission
Screens off, pens out. We want tamariki to put the devices down, pick up a pen and let their imaginations run wild.
It all started in the moana. Duan has spent his whole life diving and surfing, drawing the creatures he swims with, and Emma loves the ocean just as much. Together we turned those drawings into our first colouring book, and now every page we make helps tamariki learn te reo Māori while they colour.
We hope our books spark a love for our taiao, the natural world, and grow little kaitiaki who care for it. By encouraging exploration, creativity and kaitiakitanga, we want to help whānau unplug, get back outside and make memories together.
Most of all, we want parents and tamariki to sit down side by side, colour, kōrero and connect.
